IDC members had an opportunity to gain knowledge and get familiar with the peculiarities of providing inclusive first-aid courses.<\/p>\n<p><u>Presentation of the two case studies:<\/u><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><u>The first case study &#8211; The First-Aid courses for children of preschool or school age:<\/u><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>ASB training emphasizes immediate response measures tailored to pediatric emergencies, ensuring that children are equipped with the knowledge to handle situations and that they can perform life\u2013saving measures. These training sessions cover practical hands-on techniques based on their experiences and promote awareness of potential hazards in children&#8217;s environments, aiming to respond to emergencies promptly.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/idcserbia.org\/aktivnosti-na-erasmus-projektu-inkluzivna-prva-pomoc\/393441764_1359069864701264_689105686982251577_n\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-7236\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-7236 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/idcserbia.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/393441764_1359069864701264_689105686982251577_n-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"https:\/\/idcserbia.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/393441764_1359069864701264_689105686982251577_n-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/idcserbia.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/393441764_1359069864701264_689105686982251577_n-768x576.jpg 768w, https:\/\/idcserbia.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/393441764_1359069864701264_689105686982251577_n-200x150.jpg 200w, https:\/\/idcserbia.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/393441764_1359069864701264_689105686982251577_n.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><u>The second case study &#8211; The First-Aid Courses for people with blindness and visual impairment \/ ASB Berlin<\/u><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>ASB recognizes the unique challenges individuals with visual impairments face and has tailored first-aid training courses to empower them with essential skills. These specialized courses emphasize tactile and auditory techniques, enabling participants to assess and respond to emergencies efficiently despite their visual limitations. Additionally, ASB&#8217;s training for blind and visually impaired individuals focuses on fostering confidence in first aid application, leveraging other senses, and utilizing assistive devices or technologies to ensure the safety and well-being of both the first-aider and the patient.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/idcserbia.org\/aktivnosti-na-erasmus-projektu-inkluzivna-prva-pomoc\/393462516_656431883278727_7003970288191560390_n\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-7235\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-7235 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/idcserbia.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/393462516_656431883278727_7003970288191560390_n-225x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"225\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/idcserbia.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/393462516_656431883278727_7003970288191560390_n-225x300.jpg 225w, https:\/\/idcserbia.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/393462516_656431883278727_7003970288191560390_n-200x267.jpg 200w, https:\/\/idcserbia.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/393462516_656431883278727_7003970288191560390_n.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 225px) 100vw, 225px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><u>Discussions <\/u><\/p>\n<p>Following the presentations of the case studies, the representatives of the project partners critically evaluated the presented first aid courses, sharing feedback and personal experiences.
