The nineth competition of volunteer teams within the SAM.I network

This year’s competition of volunteer teams in providing first aid – “Samaritan Contest” 2024 will be held from July 18-21 in Zabljak, Montenegro. The hosts of the competition this year will be Alfa Center (Montenegro), CDI (Northern Macedonia) and IDC (Serbia).

The competition brings together teams of volunteers from different countries who will try their hand at theoretical and practical first aid tasks. Volunteers will be divided into two categories according to age, where the first category consists of teams from 12 to 15 years old, and the second from 16 to 21 years old.

The competition aims to contribute to the following:

– Strengthening critical thinking and encouraging young people to deal with current social issues.

– Promoting contact and exchange of experiences between young people and youth groups across Europe.

Pre-registration for the Samaritan Contest 2024 is open to all interested organizations within the SAM.I network who wish to register volunteer teams by March 31.
