Advanced business start-up training in Belgrade and Nis
During the previous week, advanced business start-up training sessions were organised, each lasting for 2 days. The training was held for selected beneficiaries from the territory of the city municipalities of Zvezdara (Belgrade) and Palilula (Nis).
After undergoing basic training, participants with the most promising ideas were given the opportunity to develop their business plans in detail through an advanced program, with mentoring support. In the following period, the most successful business plans will be supported through the allocation of business start-up equipment.
The activity is part of the economic component of the Step forward towards return project, aimed at supporting the self-employment of internally displaced persons and strengthening their capacity to start their own businesses.
The project Step forward towards return is implemented by IDC in cooperation with the municipality of Zvezdara in Belgrade and the municipality of Palilula in Nis. The project is supported by the European Union.
