Pre-announcement of public calls for the provision of housing solutions and measures of active inclusion to members of vulnerable social groups in Cacak
As a part of the project “Leaving no one behind – adequate housing and active inclusion of vulnerable social groups in Čačak”, implemented by the City of Čačak and financed by the European Union, three public calls for assistance in the form of housing solutions and active measures will soon be opened.
Persons with disabilities, women victims of domestic violence, young people whose placement in a foster family or a social welfare institution ends, Roma and other socially vulnerable population will be able to apply for assistance within the project.
The three types of housing solutions for which the residents of Čačak, who belong to these groups, will be able to apply are the provision of an apartment in public ownership in the building that will be built as part of the project in the Obrež settlement for use, then the reconstruction, renovation or adaptation of a private family house or apartment through the allocation and installation of building materials in the maximum amount of about 7,000 EUR without VAT, or the purchase of a family residential unit in the territory of Čačak in the maximum amount of about 15,000 EUR.
All beneficiaries who are selected for the provision of housing solutions will be included in measures of active inclusion, which include measures of employability (retraining, training for starting a business, etc.), measures of employment (grants for starting a business, employment with an employer), equipping the family household with furniture and equipment , psycho-social support and provision of social services and legal assistance.
Public calls will be opened during November, and all those interested can already start preparing documentation related to real estate for reconstruction or looking for a real estate that suits their needs in case they want to apply for the purchase of a household. It is important to note that even in the case of purchase and reconstruction, the real estate must be taken over from the land register, built before the adoption of construction regulations, built on the basis of a building permit, i.e. approval for construction for which a use permit was issued, or registered under the Law on Legalization of Buildings.
The city will officially announce the opening of public calls in the media and organize information sessions where interested parties will be able to get answers to all questions.
