Citizen’s days for internally displaced persons and returnees under the readmission agreement were held in order to promote open public calls for  assistance in the form of building materials package and economic empowerment within the project LSG 4 LAP – Durable Solutions for IDPs and Returnees through Partnership. More than 125 people attended citizen’s days in Smederevo, Smederevska Palanka, Velika Plana and Kovin. They had the opportunity to hear detailed information about the project, public calls for assistance and receive answers to questions regarding the procedure for applying and granting assistance.

Trustees for refugees and migration in each of the municipalities are available to all interested parties by the deadline for filing applications for all four public calls by March 4, 2019. Interested beneficiaries can obtain additional information and assistance in collecting documentation from the trustee every work day until 15h. Within the citizen’s days, public calls for the allocation of rural houses with a garden were announced, which will be opened shortly. Calls have been announced so that interested parties can start searching for a rural household and have time to collect all the necessary documentation until the opening of the call.
