Distribution of equipment within the project “Support to the employment of returnees, Roma and other hard-to-employ groups”
Last week, we delivered equipment in Bujanovac, Vranje, Aleksinac, and Temska for beneficiaries within the project “Support to the employment of returnees, Roma and other hard-to-employ groups.”
After the successful implementation of business trainings for 120 people, this is an important step in the economic empowerment of beneficiaries from the returnee, Roma, and population from hard-to-employ groups.
We tried to encourage innovative business ideas as well as an association in starting our own business – thus opening a social enterprise in Čajetina in the field of fruit processing (a joint initiative of four beneficiaries), fast food in Zemun Polje (two beneficiaries), on and offline playroom three beneficiaries in Nis), and in Priboj seven beneficiaries joined their agricultural equipment obtained within the project.
The project “Support to the employment of returnees, Roma and other hard-to-employ groups” is implemented within the broader project of German development cooperation “Inclusion of Roma and other marginalized groups in Serbia”, implemented by the German Organization for International Cooperation GIZ in Serbia in accordance with GFA consulting group.
