One more family will be provided with a rural household and additional assistance intended for construction materials for the repair or adaptation of the rural household in question or the purchase of basic furniture and appliances.
We are slowly reaching the end of the project LSG 4 LAP – Durable Solutions for Internally Displaced Persons and Returnees through partnership that IDC is implementing with the City of Smederevo and the municipalities of Smederevska Palanka, Velika Plana and Kovin. Owing to the funds of the European Union, 53 families received permanent housing solutions. The Commissariat for Refugees and Migration provided funds for additional 3 families. At the beginning of the year, 10 families of internally displaced persons and 4 families of returnees under the readmission agreement were provided with rural households and additional assistance in the form of construction materials or furniture and appliances, and 42 families received construction material packages for the adaptation of their houses.
The final list for the allocation of one remaining rural household is on the bulletin boards and websites of the City of Smedrevo and municipalities of Smederevska Palanka, Velika Plana and Kovin.
The LSG 4 LAP – Durable Solutions for Internally Displaced Persons and Returnees through partnership is funded by the European Union through the Delegation of the European Union to Serbia within the program “EU Support to Sustainable Solutions for Internally Displaced Persons and Returnees” worth 5.65 million euros.
