IDC at the 10th SAMI Contest in Austria

IDC volunteers participated in the 10th International First Aid Contest (SAM.I. Contest 2026), which was held from July 22 to 26 in Ogau, Austria.

This prestigious event, organized by the SAMARITAN INTERNATIONAL network, gathered more than 100 young Samaritans from 12 European countries, allowing them to test their strengths, test their knowledge and show excellent team spirit.

During the intensive competition program, the teams faced 12 extremely complex and realistic field simulations, as well as a demanding test of theoretical knowledge. In crisis and stressful scenarios, the IDC team showed high professionalism, quick decision-making “with a cool head and a warm heart” and exceptional dedication to the mission of saving lives.
