IDC at the international exchange “GREEN-PRO” for youth workers
Three IDC representatives participated in the international Erasmus+ exchange “Green Professional Development for Youth Workers (GREEN-PRO)”, held in March, in Horezu, Romania. The exchange brought together over 40 youth workers from more than 10 European countries with the aim of improving knowledge and skills in the field of sustainable development and green competencies.
During the 8 days of the program, participants had the opportunity to explore the role of youth work in responding to contemporary climate challenges through interactive workshops, group work, and exchange of experiences. A particular focus was on developing practical tools and methodologies that youth workers can apply in working with young people, including topics such as green skills, sustainable lifestyles, active citizenship, and environmental responsibility.
The participation of the IDC team contributed to strengthening the capacity of the organization for the development of innovative programs for young people, as well as further networking with partner organizations across Europe. The acquired knowledge and experience will be applied in the future activities of the IDC, to empower young people to actively contribute to the sustainable development of their communities.
This is the third time that IDC sends its representatives to exchanges organized by the APDD association from Romania, within the Erasmus+ program.
