The Training Module for Inclusive First Aid (TIFA) expands upon the foundation established by the INFA project and addresses gaps identified during its implementation. The primary objective is to enhance the availability of first aid courses for persons with disabilities (PWD) by systematically strengthening trainer education. Currently, mainstream first aid trainer education programmes do not include methodologies for delivering first aid training to persons with disabilities. As a result, existing educational offerings depend largely on the experience, adaptability, and initiative of individual trainers.
The project will achieve the following outcomes through its planned activities:
- Develop a train-the-trainer module on first aid for persons with disabilities, grounded in current and widely accepted first aid guidelines;
- Pilot, test, and evaluate the module through structured pilot actions, followed by drafting and publishing the final version.
Duration of the project: October 2025 – September 2027
The project is implemented by Samaritan international network in partnership with its member organisations:SRCE Association (Croatia), ASB (Germany), DPA (Denmark), ANPAS (Italy), White Cross (Italy), LSA (Latvia), LSB (Lithuania), CDI (North Macedonia), IDC (Serbia) and ASSR (Slovakia).
