RENTEGRATE – Project results for the period July 2022 – June 2023

Novi Pazar

The project successfully provided permanent employment opportunities for 22 beneficiaries belonging to disadvantaged employment categories such as returnees and Roma individuals. These beneficiaries were hired by 11 employers based in Novi Pazar. To support the employers in enhancing their businesses and creating new job opportunities, they were provided with equipment, machinery, and materials valued at 3750 euros for each newly created position. This support aimed at expanding the businesses’ capacity or production volume, ultimately leading to the generation of new employment opportunities.

Self-employment initiatives were also implemented as part of the project. Specifically, 12 beneficiaries received donations of planting materials and supportive equipment to start or improve their raspberry production ventures.

In addition to employment-related efforts, the project also focused on providing psychosocial support. A total of 142 workshops were conducted, benefiting over 315 participants. It is worth noting that the number of participants exceeded the count as many individuals attended multiple programs simultaneously.
