Within the project Novi Pazar – New Jobs , IDC organized the Social Entrepreneurship Fair in cooperation with the City of Novi Pazar and the Regional Development Agency Sandzak – SEDA . Novi Pazar Project New jobs and social entrepreneurship fairs have been supported by the German Office for International Cooperation and GIZ.

Within the fair 20 social enterprises presented their enterprises and products. The concept of social entrepreneurship was presented through various forms of interactive presentations. Through panel discussion and interactive performance of The Reflector Theater, which itself is an example of social entrepreneurship, participants had the opportunity to get acquainted with the legal framework, development opportunities and areas in which social entrepreneurship can be developed.

According to our project coordinator Igor Kojcic, one of the goals of the fair was to plant a seed of enthusiasm in Novi Pazar that it is possible to run a business in a way that you solve wider social problems. Through the Novi Pazar – New jobs project two social enterprises will be established in Novi Pazar based on already submitted business plans, which will initially receive financial and mentoring support. The Fair attracted the attention of the local community because it was a part of the 557th City anniversary activities , but also because of its innovative character and variety of content.
