Spring games and social inclusion in Sombor

IDC volunteer team  organized social event Spring games for children and youth accomodated  in a reception center in Sombor. With the support of Ajuntament de Valencia IDC secured large number of toys and sports equipment to help IDC volunteers organize and realize variery of activities and workshops, together with volunteers of Red Cross from Sombor.

We are especially grateful to the cricket club from Backi Monoštor and cricket players who have provided personal donations  of equipment and took active part in this event, and made  it have character of intercultural exchange and socialization through sports. Our volunteer Aponm student from Bangladesh together with migrants explained the rules of the game to the volunteers. Afterwards,  volunteers, members of the Cricket Club Bački Monostor and migrants played cricket in the yard of the camp.
