WISEs4Youth project conference – “Support policies towards youth social entrepreneurship in the Western Balkans and beyond”
IDC team attended the final conference of project WISEs4Youth which took place in Brussels, 19th of March.
This final conference firstly focused on presenting the EU support policies towards youth social entrepreneurship in the Western Balkans. Moreover, there was presented existing national and local initiatives and support measures towards youth entrepreneurship and social economy development in general.
Secondly, project’s outcomes and tools were presented together with policy recommendations to foster the development and visibility of the social business model. Finally, participants had the opportunity to listen to young people’s testimonies and main takeaways from their participation to the training courses and study visits in successful WISEs and social enterprises.
IDC as a member of ENSIE network, participated in presenting outcomes of the projects. Our colleague, Milena talked about young people mobility, precisely about experiences from study visits to social enterprises in Western Balkans.
WISEs4Youth is a two-years Erasmus + project (2022-2024) involving five partners from the Western Balkans (Albania – Partners Albania, Croatia – Act Group, North Macedonia – CDI Macedonia, Serbia – IDC Serbia, Slovenia – SENT). The project aim was to create training and mobility activities for social entrepreneurial skills development targeting potential young social entrepreneurs in Western Balkans.
