Final conference of the project Rural development after floods was held yesterday, on 28th of September, in Belgrade Media center.

Mr Miodrag Nedeljkovic, director of IDC welcomed the guest and opened the conference. The topic of first panel was the concept of social entrepreneurship, its legal framework and possibilities for its development in Serbia. Mr Gordan Velev, head of ASB Serbia, Ms Dina Rakin, Europen movement Serbia, and Mr Miodrag Shrestha, GIZ, spoke on these issues as all of them have been actively involved in advocating and developing this concept in Serbia for many years now.

 

 

 

 

 

Within the second panel Ms Barbara Schlihtinger, representative of ASB Austria, who was implementation partner on this project, and Mr Dušan Kostadinović, deputy major of the City of Šabac, who supported this project both financially and in realization, spoke to the guests of the conference and shared their points of view. In the end, project manager, Igor Kojčić, presented the key results and outcomes of the project, while the guest had an exclusive chance to try out new  ZaDruga product red beet.
