Volunteering is the most visible expression of promoting solidarity, facilitating social inclusion and building social capital. For these reasons Volonteurope, supported by a European working group on impact measurement, aims to promote the need for  greater recognition of volunteering and explore ways to better capture its impact in systemic form through this policy paper . Representatives of IDC took part in working group representing Serbian perspective on this issue.
