Zaposleni u IDC-u su sinoć, malo pre ponoći, ispratili uz malo hrane, vode, slatkiša i toplih čarapa oko stotinak izbeglica koji su se, po dobijenoj pomoći, izgubili u mraku, krećući se u nepoznato kroz njive i kukuruze, sa nadom da ih, već za pola sata, hrvatski policajci neće vratiti istim putem nazad.
Na prelazu prema Bapskoj, ali i prema Tovarniku, u mrklom mraku i kukuruzu, ležalo je i odmaralo oko 4000 nesrećnika bez ikakve ideje gde se nalaze i gde će ih jutro naći.Last night, just before midnight, IDC’s employees have provided some food, water, sweets and warm socks to around hundred refugees who, upon receiving aid, disappeared in the dark, moving into the unknown, through meadows and corn fields, with the hope that in the next half an hour, Croatian police will not return them the same way back.
On the crossing towards Bapska, but also to Tovarnik, some 4,000 unfortunate people were laying down and resting in the pitch dark in corn fields, without any idea where they are and where they will be in the morning.Gestern Nacht, kurz vor Mitternacht, haben Mitarbeiter des IDC Essen, Wasser, Süßigkeiten und warme Socken an ungefähr 100 Flüchtlinge verteilt, die nach diesen Hilfen in der Dunkelheit verschwanden und durch ihnen unbekannte Wiesen und Kornfelder fortschritten, in der Hoffnung, dass die kroatische Polizei sie in der nächsten halben Stunde nicht wieder zurück schickt.
Sowohl an der Kreuzung in Richtung Bapska, als auch an der Kreuzung in Richtung Tovarnik lagen etwa 4000 unglückliche Personen in den Stockdunklen Maisfeldern ohne jegliche Idee wo sie momentan sind und wo sie Morgen sein werden.
